Senior Registered Behavior Technician Of In-Field Support
Current- Responsible for overlapping and training the entry-level Behavioral Therapist in the clinical and special education settings, during their first 12 authorized hours with their first caseload of clients. - Help familiarize the new BT with the pillars of Applied Behavior Analysis during their first sessions, while assimilating them with their caseload and serving as a point of guidance wherever it is needed.- Demonstrate proper goal implementation with clients during these authorized hours, as well as all clinical knowledge necessary to prepare the new Behavioral Therapist for greater independence in the field.- For a small handful of insurance payors, conduct the first clinical session for a new client following their initial assessment, while being responsible for the addition of goals/targets for behavior reduction and/or skill acquisition.- Fully manage and organize a clinical calendar that includes direct therapy sessions, session overlaps/startups with new hires, indirect case coordination, coordination with region schedulers, clinical office work, administrative office work, culture team meetings, etc.- Additional responsibilities include communication with parents in the form of service-offering calls, communication with clinical supervisors in regards to case coordination, and occasional assistance of Behavioral Therapists who do not classify as new hires but require additional support.
