I'm a third-year student at The University of Adelaide, South Australia, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a major in Artificial Intelligence. In particular, I'm fascinated by how artificial intelligence and related technologies can be applied and leveraged in an almost endless array of contexts to solve complex problems.This desire to take on tough challenges led me to spend a summer in Sydney working as a Software Developer Intern at Optiver (APAC), where I developed not only my programming skills, but my understanding of other interesting topics such as finance and trading. In a less technical field, I have spent significant time tutoring English to school students, which has involved working with at-risk youth and non-native speakers.In addition to my studies, I am also passionate about working on projects that test the knowledge I have gained through university in new and exciting ways. I find this especially rewarding if these projects are able to help others grow and develop their education, as is in the example of my web-application adsref.cc, which explains how some complex computer science fundamentals work in a step-by-step manner.Outside of technology, I enjoy keeping fit and learning languages; at the moment I am working on my French, and in the past I have tackled some Japanese!
