As the Director of Operations some of my responsibilities included managing the opening, closing, and day-to-day operations of multiple retail locations, managing the productivity and world-class customer service delivery of the team, monitoring cost control and expenses, and providing weekly and monthly reports to the owner. Other duties consisted of coordinating and auditing the daily duties of both associates and other management staff, maintaining operational quality assurance, taking inventory of current supplies and retail items and placing orders to replenish stock, handling individual House Accounts for each store, hiring and training of new staff members, and ensuring that new corporate policies, accounts, and promotional materials were actively being handled and executed properly in all store locations. I was also responsible for performing the functions of the Manager on Duty on a daily basis by utilizing my excellent customer service skills and knowledge of all aspects of the job to manage a team at peak performance, the implementation of strategic and tactical operational plans, and taking action to take advantage of all revenue opportunities available.
