I work as a Chief Plant Protection Engineer at Al Dahra Serbia. I am responsible for planning and executing a crop protection schedule for vegetables, field-, and fodder crops on a roughly 20,000-ha estate. Also have experience as a research intern in the molecular biology laboratory, investigating the RNA silencing suppression in PepMV, ToCV, CYSDV, and CCYV-encoded proteins. I am interested in:-combating pesticide resistance (especially herbicide resistance in weeds);-combating adverse effects of climate change;-right implementation of the IPM principles;-finding ways of using GMOs in plant production to reduce environmental impact and increase the sustainability of agricultural production;-helping farmers increase their livelihood by integrating agriculture and tourism and by obtaining added value to their products.
