I was responsible for bringing the flagship SMASH summer program to Massachusetts, joining a 15 year-old family of programs spread across six states. In this role, I led a team of 15-30 staff members to support 40-100 rising 10th through 12th graders in a three-summer-long enrichment program designed to increase the participation of students of color in STEM fields.

Deepened relationships with faculty and staff in partnership with my colleague, by explaining policies, sharing best practices, and offering centralized support. As a result, five labs increased their reliance on our office, further unifying the action learning experience across the School.Led data migration project to consolidate historical action learning data from individual computer files into a single system of record. This greatly enhanced the School’s ability to use action learning activity for fundraising and “friendraising” across the globe.Managed travel and visa applications for over 200 students and mentors traveling for Action Learning courses. Grew initiative from a 3-day pre-orientation program for domestic students to a one month, blended-learning, summer bridge program with international participants.Oversaw a student-run mentoring initiative for undergraduate STEM students.
