Led and managed a diverse, pan-Wales team tasked with driving the global economic growth of the £1.6 bn Welsh creative sector, helping to create or safeguard more than 3000 jobs and £100m inward investment through projects and activities including:o Pinewood Studio Wales: a partnership that has established Pinewood's first UK studio outside London, backed.

Helping to create the conditions in which the Welsh digital and creative industries can prosper, through the development, implementation and evaluation of national sector strategy and policy (see above for examples of initiatives and their impacts).

Northwest England

Responsible for developing and implementing strategic projects and programmes to support and grow the media and wider DCI sector, particularly in the context of MediaCityUK - a £3bn development in Salford, which would become home to BBC North and ITV Granada, and create a global digital media hub in the North of England. These include:o MediaCityUK.

Co-owner and company secretary of a music production house, with responsibilities for business development, business affairs, studio operations and production. Co-wrote and produced material for national TV and advertising, and various signed and unsigned recording artists.

Reporting directly to CEO and Board, I held overall responsibility for developing, managing and marketing the company’s creative industries enterprise development division (Creativebias). Projects included:o Move On Up: a £1m start-up programme, providing sector-specialist advice, training, information, grants, facilities, sales and networking events, and.

Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for the development and implementation of an innovative Merseyside-wide creative industries business start-up programme (Creativebias “Move On Up” – see above), building on the recognised success of Musicbias (see below), and funded through DTI, HEFCE, NWDA, ERDF, ESF, commercial income and private/voluntary sector.

Reporting to the Programme Director, I developed and managed the Music Business Incubation and Acceleration Service (Musicbias) programme, funded through ERDF, Liverpool City Council and the DTI Phoenix Development Fund, using innovative outreach and delivery methods to promote and support music enterprise, particularly by individuals from underrepresented.

Conducted initial feasibility analysis and managed the implementation of the successful Musicbias incubator pilot, sponsored by LIPA through funding from DTI Phoenix Development Fund (see above).

Provided support to the A+R and Press departments of the London office including admin, handling enquiries, reviewing demo submissions, compiling label copy, attending label meetings.Also undertook regional A&R scouting in the Northwest and presented acts to label management

Provided general support for day-to-day studio management and operations, including tape op + assistant engineer functions.
