During my time at Guardian News and Media I have held each of the positions below at differing stages of my career. This has allowed me to experience a range of different functions of project management and broaden my skills and knowledge. Responsibilities• Managed the overall program of work and the portfolio of activities and initiatives across the business development and brand extension department.• Provided project management support to deliver and accelerate key strategic projects within the commercial teams including: business development, Guardian Masterclasses, Strategic Partnerships, Syndication, Guardian Soulmates, International business development and Brand Extensions • Evaluated and distilled briefs, produced scope of work and success criteria, project plans and schedules to ensure projects meet stakeholders expectations and are delivered on time and to budget.• Managed clients, digital development teams and external suppliers to deliver products that meet the defined success criteria and a return of investment• Worked with user experience team to optimise user journeys and ensure the user is the central focus of all development work. • Managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, communicating project updates and providing regular analytical reports• Co-ordinated with the Quality Assurance team to ensure bugs were collated, categorised and prioritised appropriately• Built strong relationships with key stakeholders in multiple departments within the business to set clear objectives and strategy, to enable quick resolutions of issues and to highlight any risks• Provided in depth analytical reports to clients on the performance of their campaign and consulted regularly on how to optimise their campaign and retain users.• Implemented new sales and booking processes across the department

Key successes:• Implementing the I-Grasp recruitment software product to a large number of public sector organisations such as London borough of Hackney and the Natural History Museum• Rolling out a number of successful commercial initiatives, for example Guardian Select (advertising network), to multiple commercial departments• Successful migration and re-launch of guardianjobs.co.uk - worth over £250,000• Supporting commercial initiatives by project managing all activities around Guardian Jobs product strategy• Creating a number of online resources to assist sales, promote knowledge sharing and a collaborative working environment • Establishing and improving relationships and cross department communication• Streamlining and implementing processes• Delivering training programmes to multiple departments

This role involved the development of project plans following Prince 2 methodology and using Microsoft Project. Implementations included a multi-lingual careers site for Yahoo and an external and internal recruitment solution for Channel 4 and Penguin.
