I am an Engineering Leader with 20+ years (Google 9 yr, Yahoo 4 yr, Compiler tech: 7+ years) of experience in building large-scale, distributed and ML-based systems in the information technology space. I am presently owning Ads safety of ads targeting and keyword suggestion across all Google Ads covering 15% of Google Ads revenue across 6 platforms ( GDN, Search, Youtube, Gmail, DV360, GAM ) and 10s of targeting types. Responsible for the health of personalized (ads targeting i.e. Targeting policy, PA policy ) ads enforcement and safe expansion of keyword suggestion by utilizing both supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.I have experience in building psychologically safe teams. I have successfully led a variety of projects that achieved revenue ($ XXX million) and/or user engagement (multi-million Daily Active User lift) improvement. I led these projects end-to-end from concept, design, roadmap, resource funding, team building to finally getting things done by cross-team project execution and smooth landing. I have particularly deep expertise in user privacy, quality measurement of personalized systems, distributed systems, search and ad technologies, applied machine learning, large-scale processing pipelines, and abuse/spam detection technologies.
