Current• Provides legal support, advice, and counsel to the organization and internal clients.• Represents the Company in regulatory, and legislative matters.• Drafts, reviews, and manages a wide range of legal documents.• Manages and protects Company’s IP portfolio.• Regularly works with executive-level management and counsel from other organizations and serves as a primary point of contact for internal clients related to legal issues• Collaborates with business units and various staff departments, and facilitates compliance with federal and state regulations.• Performs legal research and remains abreast of proposed legislation and regulatory changes across a number of disciplines with might affect the organization.• Analyzes complex problems and offers creative solutions to fit specific situations.• Generates new ideas to enhance legal processes, with implementation and training of same.• Takes on substantial commitments/projects and works to achieve results.• Takes accountability for driving results with and through others.• Provides crossover legal support to affiliates and subsidiaries.• Manages the legal department, including compliance analysts, contract administrators, and outside counsel.
