Joy is responsible for the daily operations and financial reporting of a number of insurance companies comprising captives, commercial insurers and special purpose insurers. She is also responsible for supervising the client service team, serving her clients as a trusted advisor, and ensuring the performance of the deliverables as agreed to in her client’s management agreements. Acting as the primary client contact, ensuring accounts are produced and delivered in accordance with all standards and are in compliance with the Bermuda Insurance Act and other relevant statutory requirements. Joy has over 12 years of extensive experience inclusive of more than 5 years in insurance account management. Prior to joining Marsh, she was a Senior Account Executive in Aon, Bermuda. She was responsible for the management of commercial (re)insurance companies including life and non-life accounts. She also managed captive clients, SPIs, ILS, Collateralized Re and Segregated account companies. She also worked as an Audit Senior with Moore Stephens in Bermuda were she gained further experience in the audit of captives, as well as familiarity with the Bermuda regulatory requirements. She began her career working as a Senior Audit Associate in Deloitte and BDO in the Philippines were she managed audit engagements for both local and international clients based in Manila.
