About Joy Johnson
I attended Cal State Long Beach and Fullerton and graduated summa cum laude with 3.95 gpa.I was hired out of college into a character rigging position at Nickelodeon where I rigged for 5 years. Then I moved to Walt Disney Feature Animation to character rig for "Wreck it Ralph". I was a winner in the 2014 VES award for "Best Character in an animated Feature" for Frozen's Elsa. I was also the character rigger on Disney's "Zootopia", for Nick Wilde's character. Recently, I have joined a startup company TAIKO, as the CG supervisor, to better expand my knowledge and give myself more opportunities to grow holistically in the field of CG.
