Oversee the implementation, scheduling and curriculum development for courses in the Summer Studies (college credit) and Pre-College (high school students) programs. Recommend marketing strategies, review and approve print and web materials, artwork and final designs. Develop course offerings for young artists, practicing creatives, college students and professional while also meeting or exceeding enrollment goals. Collaborate on budget, annual projections and faculty salaries with Business Manager. Oversight of Programs Assistant (direct report) to maximize their productivity, as well as their professional development. Hire and manage recurring Summer Office staff. Hire new and evaluate returning faculty to fill over 100 teaching positions each term. Develop faculty orientations, train and mentor faculty including: course planning, curriculum development, academic standards and policy implementation, classroom management, administrative requirements and crisis intervention. Establish relationships and new initiatives with community-based organizations to provide greater financial-aid opportunities to disadvantaged students. Serve on Pre-College Scholarship review board. Counsel high school students, struggling in the program, to identify internal and external obstacles. Advise parents to assuage fears associated with separation, heavy coursework and program expectations, as well as specific student learning challenges. Oversee disciplinary action for students in breach of Code of Conduct and provide exit plans for dismissed students. Collaborate, oversee and support campus partners including Residence Life and Dining, Health Services, Public Safety and Counseling and psychological Services. Plan and manage Final Exhibitions.Serve as guest critic during final reviews and classes. Perform course and faculty reviews to assess student satisfaction and provide optimum faculty support. Work with faculty to resolve grade appeals and student credit standings.

Principal liaison between artist and clients including municipal authorities, public art agencies, developers and educational institutions.
