After a 30+ career in Health Information Management, ICD-9-CM/ICD-10/CPT coding and software product management I switched careers to follow my dream of making a difference for homeless pets.I started FieldHaven Feline Rescue in 2003 as a grass-roots cat rescue and acted as the volunteer Executive Director. By 2015 the organization had grown to a point where a full-time director was needed. With the support of my husband and the guidance of our board of directors I made the decision to "retire" from HIM and pursue the career of my soul.

I facilitate remote access for the audit team to access the records they will be reviewing. The client data is populated into the custom database as well as TruCode, the encoder YES utilizes. During the audit project I track progress and productivity. At the conclusion of the audit phase the audited data is QA'd then reports are generated. As Project Manager my role is to allow the auditors/coders to be productive and efficient in their role by taking the tasks of establishing remote access, manipulating data, using cumbersome excel spreadsheets to collect audit/coding results and reporting off their plates.
