Current• Research inconsistencies in aircraft records and initiate any changes that are required. • Audit completed tasks for correct Transport Canada Airworthiness Directive compliance, re-inspection intervals and/or termination. Research and set up all Airworthiness Limitations re-inspection requirements for major modification’s as they are installed.• Audit engine shop visit records for Transport Canada Airworthiness Directive compliance and accurate Life Limited Parts trace. Research and set up all components, Airworthiness Directive’s, Service Bulletin’s, and inspections for all new engines and/or propellers.• Initiate Task Card changes as required.• Verify the time since overhaul on components requiring regular maintenance and review maintenance packages for unscheduled repairs. Set up all re-inspection requirements.• Audit all technical records for compliance with company, ISO & DOT standards• Provide direct assistance in the leadership of the records department by delegating work to and develop/train other Tech Records Support personnel in all areas of auditing and the maintaining of accurate tech records for all aircraft in company fleet.• Identify non-compliance to company and regulatory standards and work with other departments to rectify issues.• Since 2007 I have been sent to Safair in Johannesburg, South Africa for Cara Capital; Gemini Air Cargo in Roswell, New Mexico for Kelowna Flightcraft; Japan Transocean Air in Naha, Okinawa, and Swift Air in Phoenix, Arizona for Flair Airlines, for a review of the technical records for 6 different aircraft and 13 engines being considered for purchase in order to determine whether the maintenance being done was up to company and Transport Canada Standards.• I am familiar with the technical records requirements of B727; B737; Convair CV580, CV5800, Air Tankers; DC-10 aircraft; JT8D, CF6-50, CFM56, 501-D13, and 501-D22 engines as well as Hamilton Standard & Aeroproduct propellers.
