I am excited that you have taken the time to learn more about me! I am a passionate Quality Education Champion with a deep commitment to transforming education systems in Ghana and across Africa. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in International Education Policy at the University of Maryland, USA, to expand my expertise in education policy. This program, combined with my vast experience, equips me with the tools to influence critical discussions on decolonizing education, improving quality education, and increasing access to education for rural children, girls, and women.My drive to shape educational policy is fueled by a vision to enhance access to quality education and reduce poverty in Ghana and across Africa. As the Founder and CEO of JARAB Foundation, I have empowered over 600 school-going adolescents in rural communities through free peer mentorship, career coaching, educational materials, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights information, helping them pursue their dreams and break the cycle of poverty.As a strong advocate for girls' and women's rights, I have worked with several NGOs and International organizations, including the; United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Ghana, Women in Law and Development in Africa (WiLDAF) Ghana, NETRIGHT Ghana, Plan International, and CAMFED Ghana. Through these partnerships, I have worked on projects aimed at improving girl child education, advancing women in leadership, and empowering young girls.I am deeply committed to continuous learning and leadership development. I was a Youth Leaders Fellow at UNFPA Ghana, a fellow at the Central Leadership Program and the Young Innovative Leaders Fellowship in Nigeria, building my leadership capacity.
