    I picked up new cases at arraignments. Some of the cases were dismissed. Most cases were resolved by a disposition (plea bargaining is NOT a dirty word). The other cases I thoroughly prepared for trial, which included investigating witnesses, visiting the crime scene, reviewing documents, legal research, writing motions, and whatever else it took to be totally ready for battle (with the Prosecutor, the Judge, and sometimes my own clients). I like to win.
