An educator needs not only to be knowledgeable but must also possess the ability to listen, learn, and understand the students, the parents and the community they serve. I am always willing to work in unison with others to seek what is best. I hold myself accountable and hold others accountable as well. The educational field today is full of innovative practices, programs, technology and solutions to improve a school or district. The key to knowing which solutions to implement lies in what the data is saying.What particular strengths I would bring to the district?I am a consummate team player with what my supervisors have described as an exemplary work ethic. As such, I am viewed by my colleagues as an advocate and supporter of those endeavors that will support what’s best for students. I have never lost sight that the work of central office has tremendous implications for the achievement and success of students; therefore, the question that I ask myself at points of decision is whether or not this action is good for students.
