First 16 years worked at Product Validation Center doing destructive torture testing on electrical components including designing, wiring, instrumentation & building the test fixtures out of aluminum, providing instrumentation support (strain gauges, load cells, accelerometers). Instrumentation support on Winter testing in Bemidji, MN & summer test in Death Valley, CA. Couple years as a Spec Writer doing frame layouts for Freightliner trucks & tractors checking for interference including ensuring Back of Cab access is within compliance including loading correct Bills of Materials or submitting request for a custom BOM to be created. Spend couple years at American LeFrance Fire Truck division as Engineering support for production. Approximately an year supporting Rapid Intervention Vehicle (Airport Fire Truck) reworking harnesses, checking & marking up harness drawings so they were buildable from harness supplier. Approximately 10 years providing custom engineering for Mechatronics support of WST & Sterling models for cab & chassis wiring including providing custom wiring & BOMs to meet custom customer requested items mainly related to custom location for components.
