Previous experience for 23 years in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Proficiency in administering basic life support, attention to detail, strong communication skills, emergency procedures, stress management, ACLS, BLS certified, assisted cardiologist during procedures, critical thinking,insured patient privacy and dignity, assisted with invasive procedures, IV therapy, teamwork. I’ve transitioned in a new role as Nurse Navigator which incorporates navigating the patient through the treatment process by connecting them to resources and information to make informed decisions, which includes assisting the patient from initial diagnosis to end of life treatment if necessary. Strong emotional support and care coordination for the patient and family, care coordination and mental health of the patient.
