Loved doing the work here, but the Managers (Family owned, 3 of them, 2 brothers and one son) were very rude to me and biligerant. I was making $9 an hour and was promised a raise in a month. That never happened and when I asked about it 5 months later, I was told they were letting me go soon (waiting for the busy time to end) but at the same time was keeping a younger gal who started a month before I asked for this raise and training her at the same time. I walked out, didn't quit, but why would I stay and train some young gal and know they were kicking me out. I would never appreciate any of their honesty in any job they do if that's how they treat their employees. There's another older gal that injured herself on the job and is out on medical and they have been so rude to her too. Doubt they will let her back in. Enough said.

I recently took a position in the Bakery at Kroger as a part-time associate. Baking has always been my passion and now I'm getting a new education in how baking is done in the industry. The work is very busy, not a minute to sit but enjoying it. Bakery is a happy department to make the day of many customers. Yum Yum Very good Baked Goods.Well this didn't last long. I was the oldest one working and not dark enough to hold the position. The store manager and the bakery manager was unfair and unjust in letting me go. I took this very personally and they had no reason to justly release me. Kroger has to look into their hiring (no discrimination) and letting go/firing positions. They hire to justify the discrimination but let you go before you can prove yourself and go to the union for recourse. I love Kroger, but not the store I worked at (Dearborn Heights store) and it is filthy (I worked behind the scenes and see what goes on), I also check the Michigan/Outer Dr store and saw a complete difference in how the store is managed. Good Luck to anyone like me starting a position there and holding it. They start by cutting your hours (I heard about that but didn't believe it until it happened to me), and then releasing you. I do have lemons in my mouth!

Love this product and I bought almost everything they offered the first/second year I was a representative. But not being able to sell to others, I've lost my status. However, if you ever want to know about the product and become as interested as I was I would be happy to talk to you and maybe I would become active again.

I represented Hansons at the Kiosis that were located at specific Malls: Oakland, 12 Oaks, Lakeside, Laurel Park. I would talk to the public and answer questions and book appointments for a Sales Representative to come to their homes for their specific needs.

I worked for Body Engineering at Ford that had me build up the sign-off parts list for engineers to update durability testing. I also was involved in signing off parts for vehicles for crash and continued with the prep of vehicles for crash and followed through with the crash test. I then was a spec coordinator for vehicles coming from Europe and coordinated the parts required for tests when brought to the United States. These tests were for durability.
