I facilitate activities related to the evaluation of course equivalencies by assisting students and Academic areas and maintaining the information in the ONTransfer Course to Course (C2C) equivalency system.Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide guidance/advice to students and responds to inquiries for transfer information2. Assist students with administrative procedures involved in transferring to or from St. Lawrence College3. Facilitate evaluation of transfer requests by Faculty members 4. Monitor and maintain course equivalency information in the C2C system5. Develop and modify processes to improve effectiveness and efficiencySkills:• Proficiency with technology (e.g. MS Excel, PeopleSoft, web applications) and ability to learn new technology• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills• Excellent organizational, prioritization and scheduling skills• Time management and multi-tasking skills• Exceptional customer service skills, with a collaborative approach• Communication and motivational skills

• Ensure high quality of academic advising services by providing leadership, guidance and support to the team of academic counsellors. Partner with other service providers on matters related to students.• Liaise between the Faculty Office and the Division of Student Affairs to support initiatives related to student success and mental health awareness. (QSuccess, Bounce Back, SOAR.) • Liaise between the Faculty Office and Career Services to support inter-related academic/career advising services. (Major Maps, Majors Night, Queen's University Internship Program (QUIP).)• Develop and maintain privacy guidelines for the maintenance of student files in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). • Maintain the records retention schedule for the Faculty Office and advise on student records management issues.• Recommend changes to Faculty academic regulations as they affect student academic matters. • Initiate revision to advising practices and policies as deemed necessary. • Consult with the Associate Deans (Studies) as necessary to facilitate fair and equitable outcomes, and on the appropriate method of resolving student concerns.• Coordinate annual review of student performance (progression) in May. Addressed issues or concerns arising from student progression notification. • Monitor and recommend policies and regulations as they affect Dual Degree Program students. Assess possible dual degree program combinations for potential overlap. • Oversee and coordinate the Peer Academic Support Service (PASS). Provide ongoing training and supervision to the PASS team, optimizing the program by reviewing student feedback and improving the service.
