Police Lieutenant/Commander over the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator/Community Engagement Liaison/ABLE Instructors: As the Commander of the Community Engagement Bureau and a member of the command staff, I oversee the operations of the Georgetown University Police Department’s (GUPD) support and special services patrol. I am responsible for managing special events, student guards, and contract security functions, as well as researching, designing, and implementing training and certification criteria for both sworn and non-sworn personnel. In this capacity, I supervise security and public safety personnel, enforce departmental rules and regulations, and initiate disciplinary action when necessary. Police Corporal/Evidence Specialist/Crisis Intervention Team/Security Details:As a Police Corporal, Evidence Specialist, and Crisis Intervention Team member with experience in security details, I enforced airport regulations within the Airport Operations Area (AOA) by issuing infraction tickets. I reported violations involving unauthorized entry from the non-secured to the secured areas of the airport. In addition, I issued traffic and parking citations on airport property, Adjacent highways and toll roads, ensuring compliance with state and local traffic laws. My duties also included inspecting airport employee badges and tenant vehicle permits.I utilized specialized software to create concise and detailed reports on suspicious activities, police services, and crime-related incidents to aid in investigations, intelligence gathering, and case management.
