Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. • Responsible for all activities in the accounts receivable function. Prepares and delivers invoices to customers, organizes incoming payments, & review financial records for accuracy. Creates financial reports relating to account receivable function and status of accounts. Initiates credit checks, and follows bond procedures.• Processes sales tax filings, payments, & reconciliations. Investigates tax discrepancies and complies audit inquiries. Processes income tax payments.• Calculation and recording of the depreciation of fixed assets. Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system. Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger. Compiles fixed asset information for property tax returns.• Timely reconciles cash application and disbursements. Monitors cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances to the report & any unusual items are investigated. Prepares cash flow reports, and identifies and evaluates variances.• Responsible for month-end, & year-end close. Researches and prepare variance analysis and explanations. Prepares all Financial Reporting requirements package.
