Creative Development and Engagement Director supports your organization in the form of community programs, large scale interactive projects, outreach initiatives, educational forums, classes, public exhibitions and events. This includes problem solving, project and program development, full implementation, team management, community partnerships and public outreach. The goal of my engagement work is to ensure that an organizational mission, product, and/or concept effectively reaches the intended audience.

Each year the Festival of the Impossible reinvents the concept of an interactive exhibition. We showcase thought provoking art works with cutting edge technology. Our exhibitions involve virtual & augmented experiences, as well as artwork created to enhance sensory perception. Creative concepts illuminate possible future connections with our world. Visitors experience immersive art installations that evoke wonder, challenge how we think, and look closely at our relationship with art and technology today. Thought provoking art works and cutting-edge technology. A bulk of my work outside of building each exhibition from the ground up, was to also insure commissioned exhibition artists were fully supported. For some, this meant mentorship when working through public art concepts and story building using AR.

Develop community partners, design exhibitions as well as community arts programming and education supporting interfaith concepts.2015- Still Life Cycling - Experiential education program in Iceland. Creative projects focused on art, science, global awareness, and photo-journalism. Trips include endurance activities - cycling, backpacking, swimming, and dance.2011- 2013 - Chef Educator / Pie Ranch - Working directly with visiting urban youth and other community members creating meals that employ sustainable food practices as well as promoting food justice. This position was inventive not only in regards to fostering community but it is an alternative education for the creative process in relation to farming, land use, and agriculture2011- Elected Project Coordinator for the convening of the Andy Warhol Foundation. Project managing large-scale events for the foundation by creating partnerships. Events were designed especially for the foundation leaders and directors of non-profits across the United States to meet and share ideas.

The curriculum involved students building a contextual program/event with the goal of cross-pollinating the ideas found in their individual practice. Professional development and collaborative problem solving.

Lead in all gallery programming for a highly visible and active contemporary art organization in San Francisco. Triple Base was a project space that strived to facilitate new and innovative ways to promote the work of Bay Area artists, to instigate dialogue with artists from various regions and to encourage cross-disciplinary collaborations. The primary focus began with drawing and painting. Local artists were exhibited in an ever-evolving international Flat File Program. Highly skilled artists were invited to create site-specific exhibitions in the gallery space. Each exhibit was contextualized by gallery programming, publications, and a Dinner Lecture Series. Publications were in a printed format, programs were diverse, and dinners focused on food created by local chefs and lectures by knowledgeable practitioners. These three elements were designed to enhance the understanding of the current gallery exhibition and support the artist’s creative practice. We fostered exchanges between a growing network of national and international artistic communities which we believed to be one of the best ways to support the careers of emerging artists. Triple Base gave artists the time, space, and resources to create thought-provoking artwork that was accessible to a diverse audience. In 2009, Triple Base collaborated with the J.B. Blunk Residency Program in Inverness, California.

The Art in Storefronts program was sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the San Francisco Arts Commission, and Triple Base Gallery. Over 30 artists were selected and commissioned to create inventive art installations throughout four neighborhoods in San Francisco. Art in Storefronts was a pilot project that was part of the Mayor’s initiative to reinvigorate San Francisco neighborhoods and commercial corridors. The intention was that the selected locations (Tenderloin, Central Market, Mission, and Bayview) benefit from the attention and aesthetic improvements. The project aimed to instill community pride, support local merchants, improve streetscape conditions and safety, revitalize the property’s appearance, increase foot traffic, and support local San Francisco artists. Art in Storefronts was a celebration of the role that the arts play in community-building and economic growth.

Facilitated the Contemporary Laboratory Program bringing contemporary artists into the Denver public schools, educated museum visitors on all MCA programs and current exhibitions, organized MCA’s music and film series, planned visiting artists lectures, acted as the liaison for international artists. Designed educational tours and programs for the international Dikeou Collection housed in Denver.

Art Therapy intern with a focus on collecting and recording data for work on the Art Therapy research using "Apple Tree Drawings" to assess what is now known as (FEATS) Formal Elements Art Therapy Scale.
