With 15 years of experience in policy and law, my current role focuses on Medicare payment policy, value-based purchasing programs, and program integrity and fraud at Acumen, LLC, a policy research firm. I work as a Senior Research Manager, overseeing a branch with just over 100 analysts, and serve as project director and manager, subject matter or policy expert, and task lead across a range of projects aimed at improving healthcare efficiency, affordability, and outcomes. I have worked with government clients including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ), and non-profit organizations such as CRISP Maryland (a health information exchange) and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
