Comzafrica is a technology company that creates value-added loyalty solutions for mobile network operators. Comza's innovative Airtime Credit Service (ACS) launched in May 2011 and established the company as the biggest micro-lender in Africa. ACS is live in 19 markets across 16 countries. I was contracted as a Management Consultant to develop their first five-year strategic plan, then lead the execution and completion of key strategic objectives aligned with the expansion and growth of the company. Some of the value addition initiatives I was grateful to execute for my client were:• Delivered the successful rollout of Airtime Credit Services to six MTN Markets in Africa by managing technical, product, and client service teams.• Developed and deployed project management tools which led to over 80% increased efficiency in the rollout of client projects in various markets.• Hired and developed teams, and delivered an improved organizational structure and culture that successfully supported the fast growth.• Implemented business processes including corporate governance and board structures.• Designed and launched a new company brand and website.• Delivered the successful implementation of ISO certifications for the company.
