Co-authored "GNN Codon Adjacency Tunes Protein Translation"Use a Python-based bioinformatics pipeline to analyze ribosome profiles to examine the effects of codon adjacency of wobble codons in Yeast on translation speed.Updated and functionalized existing bioinformatics pipeline to extract more accurate ribosome profiles.Designed and performed statistical bootstrap tests to quantify results from ribosome profiling analyses.

Selected from Wesleyan's Quantitative Analysis Center Summer Apprenticeship to serve as a statistical computing tutor during the academic year. Provide drop-in tutoring for students in statistical computing and quantitative analysis courses who need assistance with statistical concepts and data management, analysis, and visualization in various statistical softwares, specifically in R, Stata, Python, SPSS, SAS, and SQL.

Applied Data Analysis (Fall 2022 - Present):Facilitate lesson plans assigned by professors during class regarding statistical computing in R and SAS and statistical concepts. Guide 6 students through a semester long research project of their choice and provide weekly feedback to ensure progress and success in the course. Serve as a drop-in tutor at weekly group office hours for R, SAS, and Stata. General Chemistry (Fall 2022 - Spring 2023): Facilitate weekly recitations where students collaborate in groups to apply concepts learned in class to worksheets provided by the professor. Assist in grading weekly homework assignments and exams as well as proctoring extra time rooms. Bioinformatics (Spring 2023): Assist in grading weekly homework assignments.Introduction to Programming (Spring 2022): Aided the professor in weekly lab sessions where students implement topics and concepts from lectures. Graded weekly homework assignments and proctored exams.

Provide students in General Chemistry, Introduction to Programming, and Developmental Biology with out of class tutoring support.Tailor concepts to each students’ own learning styles to develop understanding of concepts introduced during class.

Participate in daily workshops to master statistical concepts, learn methods to extract and process raw data from various sources, and execute such analytical techniques in multiple softwares (R, Stata, SPSS, SAS, SQL, and Python).Continue working as a researcher in the Weir Lab analyzing Yeast ribosome profiling data using a python-based bioinformatics pipeline to determine the effect of CAR interaction on G34 wobble codon translation speed.Functionalize and revise the existing pipeline to simplify redundant code and improve formatting of output results.Employ python packages xlsxwriter and openpyxl to write ouputs of the pipelineqs into Excel spreadsheets and visualize results.Code multiple versions of bootstrap testing comparing and sampling different combinations of sample statistics to quantify ribosome profiling analysis results.
