I always had a bent towards creativity from childhood that took over fashion. Persuing it, I always had the vision to etch a name for myself.After completing my Masters in Design (2010-2012) from National Institute of Fashion Technology. New Delhi, I dedicated ten years working at the core level of the Industry. I worked in women's wear with Bestsellers, Denmark for 2 years (2008-2010). I headed the design team at a luxury design export house (2012-2013) catering to international countries. I also co-started a fashion label (2013) and as a team we ran a self driven fashion business and learnt managing it. At present, I am heading the design team at a nationally popular ethnic women's wear brand, BIBA, as a Design Manager. The brand is soon to launch it's International presence outside India as well. Here I visualise concepts and guide the team to create garments on various moods. I have the teaching experiences in fashion academics too. I have been guest Faculty, examiner and member of external advisory in a number of fashion colleges. My career path always intertwined with academics as a very strong part along with industrial exposure. I would like to limit my words to these and would believe that real chances reveal the real self more.
