Body Production Engineer working at Toyota Motor North America's Production Engineering headquarters in Georgetown, KY.Over the past 3.5 years, I have worked closely with vendors to manage their heavy workload during multi model platform changes all while ensuring KPI's were met, deliverables were submitted on time, machines were built to specifications, and equipment was shipped to meet project installation deadlines.

Led 2016 Toyota Tacoma Tailgate process from vendor buyoff to plant trials - Notified vendor of punch-list items - Managed contractor through installation phase - Coordinated schedules of robot programmers, quality group, and stamping department - Worked extensively with vendor and contractor to find countermeasures for issues that arose - Ensured every team member practiced good lockout and safety procedures while working in the Tailgate line - Maintained a clean and organized work area using 5S methodGained understanding of the importance of Quality - Participated in 3rd party N&P (Number & Position) of welds for Tacoma cab using printed weld maps - Measured Tailgate using Vectoron machine - Used ball gauges to perform Sealer and Mastic gap checks on Hood - Used vernier scale levelness gauge to measure accuracy of Hood and Rear Door

Completed in-depth studies relating to the front floor cross process of the new Lexus ES line. Performed cost-benefit analysis on multiple layouts to determine the best option. Effectively combined three processes into one thereby reducing floor space, manpower, and cost.Reduced the man and machine times for this process, which achieved a lower cycle time than the initial targeted time.Created a completed work cell of this process in IGRIP.Developed a part takeout tool based on current production.Modified a part on an existing jig, which is used in Camry/Avalon production.Participated in equipment installations.

Collaborated with a fellow student to create a device that recorded the frequencies and vibrations of metamaterials.
