Controllership and Finance SSC Director and controller for the Brazil Segment. Brazil accounts for approx. 30% of all students of the Laureate network, which currently focuses on Latin America and US online programs. Laureate the largest network of higher education institutions in the world and has shown significant growth in Brazil over the last 10 years. Responsible for (i) Brazil Finance Shared Services Center (including accounting, accounts payable, tactical procurement, indirect taxes and service desk) (ii) Revenue Management & Finance Ops, (iii) Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting and (iv) Internal Controls of the Brazil Operations, overseeing a team of approximately 200 people, reporting directly into the global Chief Accounting Officer and dotted line into Brazil CFO.
