As the GIS Administrator I serve as the subject matter expert and single point of contact for GIS related activities across the enterprise. I am also charged with maintaining, licensing, upgrading, and troubleshooting corporate GIS infrastructure as well as managing and maintaining enterprise wide spatially-related data in file, personal, and enterprise (SQL-SDE) geodatabases. Aside from my administrative roles I am also responsible for working directly with all departments across the enterprise to create spatial data used in the company Master Data Management (MDM) systems. My team is tasked with creation of MSDs using ArcGIS Server (v10.0 & 10.1) for consumption in our corporate web mapping applications. My other responsibilities include conducting GIS analysis and mapping on special projects as necessary. Developing and enforcing companywide GIS standard operating procedures and best practices for all GIS & geospatial data users. I am also the primary source for staff training in the use of Desktop GIS, GIS web application, MDM applications, and other GIS based data.

While positioned as a Project Manager, my main objective was project oversight and coordination on numerous simultaneous projects. I acted as the liaison between the main office, the field crews, and the customers. I was also tasked with payment collections and material distribution on my assigned projects while working within allocated time frames. I also used GPS technology to collect data which I integrated with the clients existing database to create a GIS for them to streamline their area assignments, crew scheduling, material distribution, and competitor awareness.

My main focus was plotting 84 sections in Cleburne and White Counties, AR from courthouse metes & bounds. I also assisted with mapping on several other 2D & 3D seismic shoots. My secondary duties included assisting with running mineral title on two 3D seismic shoots, as well as completing mineral updates, and verifying mineral title run by others.

As the GIS Manager my duties included running QC on all GIS projects in the Barnett Shale, overseeing and assisting in the ongoing training of 4 other GIS Analyst, and helping develop and implement a tri-state filing system to link MS Access Databases & ArcGIS files for effective production and communication to achieve optimum job uniformity and efficiency. Building MXD files for the production of tract plats and job maps for up to seven concurrent seismic jobs, and creating weekly production maps/reports to be submitted to the Client, with the help of other GIS Analyst were also tasks that I handled.

Contracted as a Landman for several seismic shoots in Southeast Texas including a multi-client seismic shoot covering over 300 square miles. As part of a team, my main responsibility was running title in an effort of due diligence to develop a founded mineral title opinion on various tracts of land within the Area of Interest. Other duties included plotting acreages, analyzing surface and mineral ownerships, generating mineral and tract maps, and a variety of other oil and gas related tasks which include creating a filing system to organize reports & building databases.

I have consulted on seismic exploration surveys in North Central Texas, South East Texas, and Central Arkansas. I have also performed GIS Consultations in Central New Mexico.
