Data analysis intern with the vector control and management, and social behavior change communication (SBCC) technical teams. Coordinated and managed multi-country durability monitoring program for insecticide-treated bed nets (ITNs) and collaborated with technical experts and implementing partners to formulate and revise standard guidelines. Learned firsthand about the cultural context and the data collection methodology in the field during a TDY to Tanzania. Compiled, reviewed and maintained a data repository of durability monitoring reports, and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data across 15 PMI-focused countries. Formulated reports and presentation to summarize findings, identify trends and programmatic challenges, and articulate recommendations to PMI and CDC headquarter interagency teams, while providing technical guidance to the respective country teams. Developed protocol for student fieldwork project along with five other students to investigate food access environment in Baltimore City under B’more Healthy Communities for Kids Program (BHCK) at JHSPH; Collected qualitative data, including in-depth interviews with food wholesalers and corner store owners in Baltimore city, and observations at the warehouses to investigate the facilitators, barriers, perceptions and beliefs surrounding food access; Analyzed qualitative data using Atlas.ti software, synthesized and summarized the results in a report, and developed a presentation to disseminate the findings
