Wanting to be “further south and closer to the water” he finally settled in Jacksonville which has been home since, living at the Beaches for over twenty years. He has an excellent knowledge of both Jacksonville proper and the Beaches community including Duval, Nassau, Clay, and Saint Johns County.Since moving to Jacksonville, John has held several senior level management positions in sales and operations management with Fortune 100 companies in the electrical distribution industry specializing in investment analysis, budgeting, branch expansion and site selection. Through this process, he was able to gain valuable experience in negotiating tenant leases, purchase agreements and evaluated potential locations for suitability while forecasting the impending profitability based on established investment criteria.This experience in successful site selection led to an interest in the commercial real estate business and was valuable in the establishment of Strategic Sites Clifford Commercial Real Estate in 2005. With dynamic and experienced leadership, this firm has grown to be one of the most recognized brands in Northeast Florida today.He resides with his family in Ponte Vedra Beach and has been active in local politics, community associations, coaching youth athletics and local charities including Habitat for Humanity and the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM).
