My started my first job at the age of 15, working as a dishwasher at Singing Hills golf course in El Cajon, CA. I hated every second of it, but it taught me early how to pull my own weight in a stressful job setting. I left that job after 6 months to become a server at a retirement home where I ended working for two and a half years. I loved my co-workers, management, and of course the residents that we served daily. Having the ability to pick the brain of so may knowledgeable and experienced human beings was extremely beneficial to my character growth as a young adult. In my time there, I learned about happiness, different careers, long lasting relationships, love, sickness, anger, and, unfortunately, death. By the time I was 18 I had risen to the level the dining room supervisor and I felt ready to take on the world after graduation! I joined the California Army National Guard on January 23, 2006. I enlisted and was sent off to Basic and Military Police Training in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. After training was over, I spent the next four years on combat deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan. After completing my military contract, I jumped around different jobs with no purpose or energy to find the next path for myself. I worked construction, cook jobs, mover jobs, and different odd jobs here and there. Of course, my deployments and time in the U.S. Army changed my life in more ways than I can express here. I Thank God that I am still alive today and am fighting for a better future for myself, my family, and my community.In 2017, my family was blessed to own & operate a Virtual Reality gaming center in Ocean Beach, CA. We offered VR games & experiences, birthday parties, corporate entertainment, and many other VR related services. We ran a successful and growing business until March 15, 2020 when Covid shut us (and the world) down.Today, my wife and I are proud Owners of two i9 Sports Franchises. We organize youth sports programs in San Diego. We serve the youth in Spring Valley, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Skyline, Bonita, Ocean Beach, North Park, City Heights, and Downtown SD!I love and welcome business collaborations and support of each other's goals and dreams.
