As a research assistant on the FOCAL project, I aided in gathering, analyzing, and presenting labour market and industry data for the automotive sector as it undergoes the landmark electric vehicle transition.Analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data gathered from censuses, labour unions, industry reports and government agencies, I created occupational profiles for in demand automotive occupations. I assisted in the creation of Skills Transferability Matrices for occupations in the automotive industry, a tool which could be used to measure related attributes between occupations for the purpose of upskilling, or transitioning to new roles. Towards the end of the project, I had an opportunity to write a report exploring the relationship and changing industry dynamics between automotive manufacturing, repair and maintenance, and wholesale parts dealers, and the associated impacts that an electric transition would have.

Served as a Consultant on a project contracted by Toronto Pan-Am Sports Centre.Role Responsibilities:• Led team meetings with project members and client, took meeting minutes and confirmed changes to, as well as status of project deliverables.• Used economic inflation data to adjust bookkeeping entries for cost schedule, reflecting accurate costs of replacing goods involved in business function.• On Excel compiled and reworked existing inventory and cost schedule based on year of cash outflow to provide easy to interpret expectations for expenses based on calendar year as well as replacement cycle.• Updated existing financial model to implement inflation adjusted inventory costs to new budget requirements over a 50-year time period.• Contributed to creation of a technical report on Microsoft Word, outlining project progress, findings, instructions on how to interact with and edit the financial model and cost schedule, recommendations and further trends to consider for the future.
