Tennis and paddle tennis professional JP Johnson has built a career out of doing what he loves. As the founder of JPJ Sports, Inc., he teaches tennis and paddle tennis to country clubs in the tri-state area. JP Johnson currently serves as the director of tennis at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York, and has taught tennis at Brooklawn Country Club, Willowbrook Swim and Tennis, Birchwood Swim and Tennis, Century Country Club, the Tennis Club of Trumbull, and Westport Tennis Club.Mr. Johnson began his career while earning his undergraduate degree in economics from Colgate University. At the school, he played division I varsity tennis and was captain of his team during his final year. He also spent his summers teaching tennis in the areas surrounding his university.Even in his free time, JP Johnson devotes his time and energy to athletics, playing soccer, golf, Frisbee, and ping-pong. He also enjoys kayaking, hiking, camping, and swimming. A world traveler, Mr. Johnson counts the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Brazil, and Italy among his favorite cities to visit.
