After thinking about this off and on for many years, in 2007 I finally decided to leverage my extensive experience as a senior marketing executive for several highly successfuly companies in the consumer and healthcare industries by founding 14th Floor Solutions, LLC, a results-oriented strategic marketing agency. My intent was to create the kind of agency I always wanted to having working for me: one that blends a sharp focus on strategy with provocative creativity in order to generate exceptional results...and has a lot of fun in the process! I'm thrilled with the way things have gone, as I'm very fortunate to have several bright, ambitious, open-minded clients for whom we've been able to deliver outstanding results. In April 2022, I received a call from James Spann, a good friend and former colleague who had recently founded a groundbreaking venture capital firm called Boyd Street Ventures. He asked if I might be interested in coming on board as Venture Partner for Marketing & Investor Relations, and after hearing his exciting and inspiring vision, I leapt at the opportunity. Since then, I've been spending 30+ hours/week on BSV and 30+ hours/week taking care of my wonderful 14th Floor Solutions clients. It might sound like a lot of work, but in truth it's a great deal of fun - and a real honor - to work on behalf of truly innovative organizations pursuing wonderful causes.
