Hello 👋🏻I am a third-year student at Queen's University Smith School of Engineering, studying Applied Mathematics & Mechanical Engineering. Within my studies, I cover theoretical mathematics which sharpen my ability to understand challenging concepts. I take a variety of mechanical engineering classes that allow me to highlight my teamwork skills and tackle problems by performing computational problem-solving. Many of my key attributes include defined leadership, numerical literacy and oral/written communicationAs the Director of Professional Development, I have learned to become a collaborative team leader to reach a shared goal of bettering the professional skills of Queen's students within my team. I have learned to integrate my strong intuition for innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving not only through an engineering environment but, in a communication-based team setting. Innovation within engineering is far from limited around the world. Outside of my studies and extracurriculars, I enjoy travelling where I can see how other countries tackle environmental concerns, strive for net zero communities, promote work-life balance, and be innovative with the resources they have available. This drives my curiosity to consider and compare these approaches which highlight the endless solutions there are to solve a problem.
