This major new building will be constructed within a fully operational campus in central Oxford’s historic conservation area.Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre, BS Stanford Ltd and Ministry of Defence (MoD), UKThis high profile £300M charitably funded project will deliver world class clinical rehabilitation to injured servicemen and women in the Grade II* Listed Stanford Hall and its Registered Parkland Estate. Tim managed a multidisciplinary team from concept design to handover over an 8-year period. The planning process achieved a delicate balance between restoring the heritage significance of the Estate and the need to accommodate extensive major alterations and extensions to historic listed buildings with a high standard of accessibility and security including compliance with counter terrorism measures.
