Jim leads building information modeling through teaching, modeling and coordination of documents for small and large projects. Having experiece in both architectural and structural documentation promotes the coordinaton of documents in the office. He is experienced with rendering and building analysis through BIM applications. Jim coordinates sustainability into projects though planning and LEED documentation.

Leads work of committee related to communication and development. Helps to set state strategy with staff, Market Leadership Advisory Board, and committee members. Ensures state strategy is implemented at regional level and synergizes implementation among regions.

Jim is active in the US Green Building Council’s Cincinnati Regional Chapter. He is a past board member and past chair of the Emerging Professionals. He in most directly involved with the communications member circle. He has organized design competitions including the Redevelopment of the Drop Inn Center -a local homeless shelter- and the Natural Talent Design Competition to facilitate the construction of homes in New Orleans that are affordable, efficient and have minimal impact on the environment.

The Emerging Professionals National Committee (EPNC) is made up of 11 individuals from all across the United States and one Representative from the Chapter Steering Committee (CSC) and is responsible for: •Creating policies, programs and initiatives for the local Emerging Professionals committees across the country. •Coordinating the efforts of local committees and USGBC and any other relevant parties •Communicating with local Emerging Professionals committees, their chapters and USGBC
