Thesis title: Assessing The Combined Effect Of Carbon-Water Dynamics On Hydrological Processes In Brazil

Working as a resort representative for Crystal Ski Holidays in Val d'Isère (2015/16) and St Anton (2016/17)Acting as the face of the company. The roles of the job included large amounts of customer and supplier interaction in order to solve any issues and taylor holidays to satisfy a large variety of people.

As the Lagoon monitoring coordinator, among many of the other tasks, it was my role to continue the current research program and potentially compile a report to provide to the Ministry of Fisheries presenting our findings over the last 5 years. I have spent the majority of my time here trying to restructure the monitoring program from the foundation up (starting from trying to digitally map the lagoon for the construction of representable sites, to finalising a formal protocol for the collection process) so that future data collected may be publishable, and therefore used as evidence in requests for voluntary no-take zones or MPAs.Other responsibilities:- Fish and coral monitoring - managing volunteers, organising the field trips, data collection (linear transects - snorkelling), data entry, data analysis.- Budget monitoring- Boat management- Volunteer training - Initiations for use of all eqipment, data collection, species identification (coral, fish and invertebrates).- Volunteer management- Equipment management- Species archive- Track meteorological changes - keep on top of tides, general wind speeds, and incoming storms.- Local awareness - support and partake in public awareness events around the island, engage with the locals wherever possible.
