My current role includes managing planning projects in which we are the lead or sole firm. In my role as a Policy and Real Estate Analyst, I conducted research on current market, economic, and policy conditions affecting our clients' communities. Armed with an understanding of this external conditions, our team worked with the project client and key stakeholders to understand institutional or community goals and objectives for real estate, economic, and community development. Finally, we formulated strategies that would allow the community or institution to achieve its stated goals within the constraints presented by external conditions. In addition to the above strategic planning work, I also conducted research for and wrote market studies for proposed developments applying for low-income housing tax credits, and worked on economic feasibility studies for proposed developments applying for public development incentives.

Conducted policy research on CNT's main issue areas - water, energy and transportation/community development - at federal, state and local levels. Supported CNT's economic development initiatives, including the Green TIME Zone strategy in Chicago's south suburbs and a Location-Efficient Mortgage program in Minneapolis. Worked under Vice-President for Policy and National Policy Director.
