• Developed a new form of spectroscopy based on ultrasound frequency analysis.• Created several instrument designs, including sample cell creation using a CNC mill, data acquisition, and computer interfacing.• Synthesized novel hydrogel sensors based on cellulose, acrylamide, and dendrimeric polymers.
