Left corporate America in 2016 to pursue my passions for astronomy and science. I believe that kids and adults should follow their dreams of becoming astronomers, astronauts, and aerospace engineers. Founded Stellar Publishing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, producing several best-selling stargazing books and a popular YouTube channel called Learn To Stargaze. Best selling titles include: 50 Things to See with a Telescope - Kids, 50 Things to See with a Small Telescope, 50 Things to See on the Moon (in partnership with Formac Publishing), and 110 Things to See with a Telescope (2021). Other popular titles include: 50 Animals that have Been to Space (2020), 50 Targets for the Mid-Sized Telescope (2017), Callisto Deception (tech-thriller novel), The Martian Conspiracy (tech-thriller novel), 50 Space Missions that Changed The World (2020). 50 Things to know about the International Space Station (2021), and Learn to Stargaze for Kids (2022).In mid-2020, started building the brand "@LearnToStargaze" on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter. @LearnToStargaze provides educational content targeted at the beginner stargazer, primarily in video form.Graduated with a second undergraduate degree in astrophysics from Saint Mary's University (2020). Employed (evenings) as a telescope operator at the Burke-Gaffney Observatory teaching students how to use the University's telescopes, big and small.Fortune 500 experience: In my eleven years at The Clorox Company (2005-2016) I helped hundreds of people grow in their careers. As a people manager, I’ve guided my direct reports, helping them get promoted to the next level. Working alongside Clorox’s Learning and Development team, I've helped build and teach training classes taken by nearly every F&A professional at Clorox (you can view some of our promotional videos below).
