The majority of my career has been spent in Hotels, Attractions and Theme Parks working in Operations, Human Resources, Park Services and Merchandise.Most recently, I was the Learning and Development Specialist at The La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, Inc. in La Jolla California. LJBTC, Inc. is a family owned private club that also features hotel rooms and award wining restaurants that are open to the public. Previously, I worked at Hilton Grand Vacations in Orlando in Learning and Development. This role allowed me to pull from every role I’ve had and share that experience with the new Team Members as they began their role with the company. I also spent three years at HGVC as the Resort Manager at the SeaWorld property. There I was responsible for representing the property to all Guests and Owners and ensuring Hilton quality standards were achieved.Perhaps the most exciting job of my career was being on the opening team at Universal's Islands of Adventure Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. I was the opening Supervisor of The Hulk Roller coaster and prior to the park's opening I was promoted to Assistant Manager of the Ride and Show department. In my nine years at Universal I held a variety of roles in both parks in Ride and Show, Park Services and Merchandise. While living in Atlanta, Georgia, I worked at both Six Flags over Georgia, The World of Coca-Cola and during the 1996 Summer Olympics, Coca-Cola Olympic City.
