For this same period the Red Hat Virtualization business has had an average, steady YoY growth of 20%.I am also proactively leading and working to build the Red Hat Open Hybrid Cloud platform ecosystem and partner certification program for the Cloud Platforms business unit.

Most importantly, I was part of the management team on the MySQL Enterprise subscription rollout effort in CYQ4 of 2006 – a major rebranding and rework of the company’s support-centric MySQL Network offering. Key contribution was productizing of the MySQL Enterprise Monitor as a key commercial differentiator of the new subscription model. This project resulted in overall subscription-based revenue growing from 18% of total bookings to an average of 42%, with an average YoY growth of > 90%. Growth in MySQL’s subscription-based business helped lead to the $1 billion acquisition of MySQL by Sun Microsystems in 2008.
