Hi, I'm Jeff!I'm a teacher, game developer, full-stack web developer, part-time devops mechanic and all-around digital machinist. I've been at the helm of my own company, Axon Interactive, for 7 years and I've solved a lot of problems. From technical issues to business process to understanding clients that don't speak the same language and developing a game that's much larger than we first anticipated, I've seen and done a lot so far and I'm only getting started. Since graduation from Humber's Game Programming program, I've gone on to teach physics and web development at Humber part-time to give back to the program. Teaching has become an important part of my life and hopefully I'll always be passing on my knowledge in one form or another, whatever I'm working on.I call myself a digital machinist out of respect for my father's profession -- one of exceptional precision and systems analysis. While the prime-time of trade work like my Dad specialized in has passed, the machines we work on have only changed form. The spirit and passion of excellent craftsmanship lives on, and I'd like to embody that spirit as completely as I am able. Knowledge economy or not, the value of good old-fashioned ingenuity and determination to get the job done can never be understated.
