I am the past National President and current Chairman, Legislative Affairs of the United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association (CPOA), a non-profit organization that supports and advocates for the enlisted members of the Coast Guard and their families. I served in this role for 6 years, leading and managing a diverse and dynamic team of volunteers across the country.My core competencies include organizational leadership, operational planning, process improvement, data analysis, programming, and logistics. I leverage these skills to grow and invigorate our membership, collaborate with other veterans service organizations, and mentor the next generation of Coast Guard leaders. I also serve as the Chairman of the Uniform Formulary Beneficiary Advisory Panel at the Defense Health Agency and as a member of the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Service Organizations in Virginia. These positions enable me to influence policy and outcomes for the benefit of the veteran community. My mission is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of our members and their families, and to promote the values and traditions of the Coast Guard.
