In April of 2020, I joined Intervala by way of their acquisition of Princeton Technology and continued my role within Human Resources to ensure a positive and successful employee lifecycle experience! As you can imagine, there are many administrative details to work through during an acquisition. I successfully implemented a new payroll provider during the acquisition and integrated a newly acquired company into one facility within five months of the acquisition. On a daily basis, you will find me talking with both employees and managers – whether it’s a question regarding benefits, company policy or training and growth opportunities. I’m passionate about helping all employees recognize and realize opportunities for success!

In July 2015, I accepted an HR leadership role with a manufacturing company that was experiencing year-over-year growth and profitability. On a daily basis, I collaborated with Managers and Employees on a variety of items, such as: policies and procedures, leadership training as well as conflict resolution. As the leader of HR, I was also responsible to develop and implement policies and procedures, a comprehensive benefits program, all recruitment and retention efforts, as well as managing employee leave programs. I’m passionate about being able to add value to any organization that I work with and was able to develop and implement several initiatives that added great value to the employee experience. One of the most well-received initiatives was establishing an employee flex schedule program – this initiative required a coordinated effort between payroll, our time-tracking software as well as all department managers to ensure sufficient staffing. The employees have loved having every other Friday off! Additionally, I was also able to launch the company sponsored 401(k) program. This required working with the TPA to write the plan documents, the financial advisor and the plan sponsor to implement and maintain the program.

In September of 2009, a friend reached out and asked if I wanted to help with a start-up international non-profit. They said it would be challenging as there weren’t many policies and procedures in place and they were looking for someone who wouldn’t hesitate to jump in and assess what was needed to ensure it was a fully functioning 501(c)(3). What a fantastic five years of directing the day-to-day administration of that organization that grew 500% during that time – I’m very proud of all that was accomplished! I was able to spearhead and implement their online donor contribution platform that enabled both the donor and employee to manage all contributions online. This online platform created at least a 50% efficiency that enabled me to focus on other projects, such as implementing benefits and a 403(b) plan as well as the annual employee meeting and employing cloud-based training. Although the experience I gained while at IBMGlobal afforded me opportunities to advance my career, I feel most grateful to have been part of an organization that was making a difference around the world!

After leaving Jefferies, I decided to look for a role that would allow me to increase my level of responsibility and accepted a position as a Sales Coordinator for a dental restoration organization. It was a great decision and provided many opportunities during my time there! While I continued to manage travel and expense for the SVP and VP – Sales Operations, I also managed Runzheimer, a vehicle reimbursement program for the 200+ employee sales force. As someone who loves details, I requested every opportunity to plan and execute both on-site and off-site sales training events. Additionally, I assisted with the construction of the annual sales budget and helped analyze sales management performance.
