Hello,My legal name is Joseph Cisneros, but you can call me J! I appreciate you taking a moment to visit my LinkedIn page. The majority of my work history has been devoted to a diverse array of increasingly progressive roles within the Boys & Girls Club Movement, progressing from a front-line staff member to a member of the senior leadership team. After reaching a career plateau at the Boys & Girls Club, I transitioned to nonfiction adult trade publishing when I assumed the role of Chief of Staff at Wonderwell. I chose this position because I was drawn to the leadership style of my current bosses. This role has afforded me the opportunity to refine my administrative skills and has challenged me to delve into a brand-new industry. I am also an avid reader of business books, particularly leadership fables such as "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team" by Patrick Lencioni. One common thread between both organizations is the emphasis on the implementation of EOS, which stands for "Entrepreneurial Operating System." EOS comprises a comprehensive set of straightforward concepts and practical tools that have aided countless entrepreneurs in achieving their goals. By mastering this simple approach to operation, leadership teams of growth-oriented companies systematically and enduringly improve their performance. My favorite aspect of the workweek is conducting meetings with my colleagues. I derive great satisfaction from meetings that are focused on eliminating bottlenecks, removing obstacles, aligning everyone's perspectives, and resolving issues. I thoroughly enjoy assisting teams in finding clarity at work. The job function that I miss most at the moment is supervising a core team. The opportunity to lead and manage team members is immensely rewarding as it entails responsibility for their personal and professional growth. On a personal note, I consider myself someone who approaches work with a positive attitude and a commitment to serving my supervisor and our stakeholders. For leisure, I play an instrument called the melodica. If you haven't heard of it and don't wish to look it up, imagine it as the offspring of a harmonica and an accordion. :)In any case, if you would like to learn more about me at any time, please don't hesitate to reach out! With gratitude, J Cisneros
